At Agility we are about creating long term relationships. Our approach revolves around three core principles; achieving tangible results, being pro-active and working in close collaboration. And this framework is exactly what we did for the UK’s oldest theme park, Blackgang Chine.
Our strategy
Situated on the scenic Isle of Wight, Blackgang Chine presented distinct challenges owing to its unique island location. We prioritised immersing ourselves in the local environment to understand its demographics, holiday audience, and potential opportunities. Our team visited the park three times during the first year, gaining invaluable firsthand insights into the nostalgic charm that defines Blackgang Chine and through consistent testing, regular contact on visitor numbers and refining our approach, a strategic partnership grew.

The results
With Blackgang Chine working with a new ticketing provider, it allowed them to accurately track conversions, marking a significant improvement in our campaign’s effectiveness. Our summer marketing initiative achieved remarkable success with a cost per conversion of less than £1 per visitor and a click cost of merely 30p. This collaboration contributed to their huge uplift in 2024 and reinforced a winning relationship.
